about

R.A.D.
Rape Aggression Defense Training

After many hours of training in numerous methods of self-defense, I believe there are good elements in many programs. I believe what is most important is not the volume of knowledge, but the every day girl’s ability to APPLY what she knows.

I chose to teach Rape Aggression Defense for its combined focus on avoidance, prevention and ease of the technique. RAD is more than a self-defense class, it will change the way you see yourself.

Two things: Fear is like a pebble dropped into a pond and violence is like a silent killer. The impact, so visible at first, quickly diminishes, leaving the victim alone with her pain. You know, it is easier to not face our fears, but try, see this class as an opportunity to realize self-care, physical strength and courage. I will be there all the way.
